Glenn, by any chance did you see the Maria, Meeker interview last friday on CNBC?
Well, I wrote these notes down so let me explain it.
Maria asked Meeker if she could explain why her picks have done so terrible.
Meeker responded. "The way we measure our success is over time"
Maria then asked Meeker about risk allocation. Meeker responded."risk allocation is trying to find the winners going forward".
Meeker told Maria "we are working with Bill Miller of the Legg Mason Fund, so we are comfortable with our recommendations".
Maria asked Meeker why she didn't recommend her investors selling all her picks before they peaked.
Meeker said "it wouldn't have been smart to downgrade my picks while they were going up"
At the end of the Interview Maria asked Meeker which one of her picks will bring rich rewards.
Meeker said AOL, eBay, and MicroSoft.
Since when has this pimp been covering Msft?
Btw
Meeker couldn't take eyes off Maria's cleavage...neither could I.
