I agree with you and the best way to do this is a flat tax. The reason for that is then you remove the incentive to buying off the politicians. Business goes and greases the palms and then gets tax cuts. Believe me as long as there are benefits to be obtained by giving the politicians the money to get tax breaks then they will do it and find a way to do it. Look how many laws were broken by Al Gore and Bill Clinton and yet no penalties. Make new laws and they will break those. But if you have a flat tax than no company would have an interest in giving them money as they would not get a tax break
