Dan - maybe my use of hypester is being misunderstood

By saying that - what I mean is she hypes her performance of chat room calls on her thread. I am not saying she hypes stocks so others buy in.

If you find what she posts on her thread useful, I am glad. maybe it does help some folks. but I find little if any value in seeing only a bunch of after the fact winning calls posted. Sure, she does post some nice, pretty annotated charts. And maybe that is of value to you and others even after the fact - but to someone who understands how to read a chart and recognize patterns - it is pretty useless.

As far as being generous and posting a lot to a public thread - I guess our opinions differ there. I see it as solely hyping her paid service to try to attract people to pay her for her calls. You see it otherwise. Fair enough. But IMO - if she really wanted to be "generous" - why wouldn't she post some real time calls on a real time basis? Problem is - then any lurkers would see her losers as well as winners. by only posting after the fact - one just sees the good side.

Sorry if we disagree - but this is a touchy subject with me as I hate to see people get ripped off by so called guru's like her

being a public figure makes you a target for those who like to take pot shots, whether the person deserves it or not...

Absolutely true. And that includes the media. You must learn to build a sort of force-field to most of it. Plus, there are the few who thrive in conflict, and are not interested in establishing truth, . . . just in their mission to seek and destroy. . . and such persons must be ignored, no matter how much they talk about yer mama. All of this leads one to handle things in ways online that they would not do in real life. So attempting to pass judgment on an online personality, based only on their posting is hardly fair.

If there were REAL evidence of wrong-doing, I'd join in and say 'something is amiss'. But in the years I've been here, I just haven't seen it in her.
