Yeah Paul...going back a few weeks....I thought it would take a lot to move the Naz through the 2000-2100 area.....for there is so much long/short technical support to Naz there (not to mention.....2000....big number)....

But now, Dow's big boys are rolling over/starting to roll over good in the last couple weeks: IBM, GE, MSFT...Safety net for Naz seemingly going away....

Gotta agree....if Naz more than flirts with sub-2000 intra-day....Naz is in big trouble, and can go a lot lower...

One caveat (which I am watching): I think reality is really starting to hit home this weekend...Seeing a lot in print, on TV, boards about Naz 1600...."Bull market of '90s over"....increasing despair, resignation....maybe no short-term capitulation tomorrow, or Tuesday...but my "fear index" seems to be increasing over a week ago....decent capitulation? I think we're getting there..

If you recall, I have been saying that I thought a fear "mini-bottom" is the only/main thing that could drive Naz higher in near future, since there's going to be a really lack of any other catalyst in the coming days..
