I really do not know, and they have held better than I thought on this run (the sox actually did match last years lows on the March 1st swoon if memory serves). I still think it is "misplaced hope", but it could also be that on the valuation scale, some of the stocks in that space are staring to look attractive. I do not think they have reached the level of "uncommon value" yet, and for the time being, I still expect 515 to be breached sometime in the next three to six months. I'll have to see how the next five weeks rally treats these, if the like of AMAT, INC and NVLS, for instance can make new recovery highs, the bottom might be in for a short time.
