The ideas that came across my desk had one exit strategy... go public based on comps, profit was not an issue. <The super cap gain help create a pipe line of companies that would not have been created otherwise> No doubt... but my point stands, IMO the loss of money by the public has much more to do with houses selling crap than VC's getting help raising cash for startups. No
