Matter of fact, it really is quite the opposite of what you guys declare. You say that he has missed the boat for the whole tech ride while many made a killing playing the techs. I say bullshit! The man simply avoided the mess altogether.

Think about it now. Those savvy tech players have had their day in the sun and their party is over. Those that made some money and managed to hang on to it were either real good or real lucky. Let's see how their track record stacks up against Mr. Buffett's after 30-40 years of this. Warren Buffett's strategy of avoiding technology companies is as sound as it gets. Technology changes so rapidly that it is virtually impossible to assess a value on a technology company, let alone determine where it will trade in ten years. Today's ripe apple is tomorrow's rotten core.

I seriously doubt Warren Buffet is concerned at all about missing a few good scalps from the technology companies. He is not in the business of shooting from the hip on high risk investments. That's what you guys do.
