Gore lost Nadine, get over it. Perhaps if his swatt team of clintonized lawyers had decided early on to ask for a full state recount, they would have had a legitimate chance.

But Gore knew he lost, that's why he didn't ask for a full state wide recount until he knew it was too late. Instead, he tried to change the state-wide statistical count by only asking for recounts in heavily favored Gore districts. It was a scam perpetuated on the American people, our system of government and the very foundation of our constitution.

Thank God we had Supreme Court Justices who took the law in hand, and rebuked this attempted theft of a Presidency.

Character sometimes matters in this Republic, that's why Bush won and Whopper Al lost.

Just imagine the lies we would be hearing now if Whopper Al had been elected. Let's see... the slowdown in the economy is because Republicans refused to spend more and more of our tax dollars on a new government stimulus package.

Miscrosft is to blame because they prevented innovation in the marketplace.

Republicans are to blame because our HillaryCare take over of the health care system never was enacted.

Oh, and here's the most likely one. George Bush is to blame because he dared to suggest our economy was sputtering during the election.

The "Clintonized" Democratic party is completely without honesty or integrity these days. Every time I see Tom Dashle, or Dick Gephard on the air spilling forth another lie, it only deepens my belief in the despicable nature of these people.

They don't give a rats-ass about America, our children, our future, or the truth. The only thing they care about is power. How they can get some of it back. How they can fool their constituents into keeping it, and how much of our liberties they can put under their control.

It's really quite sickening if you want to know the truth about it.

As the days pass by, and Democrats keep up this Clintonized rhetoric, while Bush remains above the fray, being honest, being decent, being straightforward, and just plain being himself. More and more Americans will come to see these ruthless, phony, power hungry elites for what, and who they are.

This thread, and many of the Democratic party inhabitants who visit here, are a testament to what Clinton has done to the Democratic party. He's turned practically every one of you into nothing more than sound-bites, willing to say whatever latest talking point is making the rounds (whether true or not) in order to score a focus group point.

GOP Suggests 'Midcourse Adjustment' on Taxes
Sunday, March 11, 2001
By Brigitte Greenberg
WASHINGTON — Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott raised the possibility Sunday that Congress could scale back President Bush's tax cuts in the future if projected surpluses do not materialize — a shift apparently intended to win support from reluctant centrists of both parties.

Yes, Nadine, there is no doubt that more people left the polling booths in Florida believing they had cast a vote for Gore than for Bush, and the more analyses that are done, the more evident it will become. A number of factors, including poorly designed ballots, human error, GOP obfuscation, Antonin Scalia, etc. prevented the official results from reflecting that fact. And the static you hear on this thread is just a whole of Bushit, trying to pretend it's not true.

"Don't blame me, I voted with the majority."

Nadine, "Theory". Nothing more than a guess. Could be that you have guessed wrong. The intention of one human being, cannot be known, for sure, by another human being. ~H~

Dear dear dear Nadine, you may pine all you want. But an ergonomic analysis of the butterfly ballot design found it to be in the ranks of OK. So you can whine all you want that Al should be president because some number of individuals who have far less comprehension than 74 out of 74 second graders, may have voted incorrectly. So please continue to whine on. The last of the dumbest of the dumb whining because the retarded were not able to elect Sore Loserman. You see Nadine 50% of any human population has an IQ below 100. I figure 95% of those who voted for Al are from this group. The democrat's have to learn that when the demographic of your support is among the dumbest in America you have to work on not walking into walls skills.

one example
Butterfly Ballot Flies With Ga. 2nd-Graders
Atlanta Journal and Constitution
School psychologist Ron McGee asked the
8-year-olds at Lee County Elementary to vote for their
favorite Disney character, using a ballot similar to the
one that has caused controversy in Palm Beach County,
Fla. He said not one of his 74 young voters marked a
choice they did not intend to mark on the ballot, which
instructed them only to ''Check the box for the one you
choose.''
but....
Just think of the turmoil if he who
hugged the greatest in his own mind, the rapist the thief, the liar, the cheat, the poster boy
of pardons for pay were in. We in the majority who support honesty, kindness, decency
would not have the most honest, kindest and decent President Bush with civil words and
deeds attempting to bring back self respect to the scum or democrats. Yes the world, in
particular America is a much better place now the President Bush, the president with the
majority of support of American people (zogby, cbs, nbc, abc .....) is the White Hat in the
White House.
