What is your anticipated range for the SPX and NAZ?

My betting is SPX around 1150 to 1350 more or less and NAZ 1900 to 2300 or 2400.

Agree,

And for my trading that is ideal. It allows for some operating disciplined with support loosely defined and resistance better defined. 1995-2000 was truly insane for technical trading from my stand point. I liked the 1994 market, thought that would mark a top...but then greenie and Rubin went to create a bubble to save the world and give the politicians their surplus. Back to basics finally.

who's worried -- but it isn't going to be a few more hundred pts unless you are just talking about the next couple of days

We haven't come near the bottom yet -- this is nothing like those prior periods. Participation of the public and coporations is much higher, the advance has been considerably more rapid -- all fed by an unparalleled expansion of credit. We'll see sub 1000 this year ...

trade the bounce and make some money, but buying and holding technology from these levels will prove to be a severe disappointment for at least the next 3 years ...
