Hong Kong now down 421 to 13773. Nikkei down 378 to 12249, both about 3%. This is not looking good. I have heard that if the Nikkei doesn't get above about 13,500 that there will be massive bank failures at the end of this month when these banks have to "mark-to-market." Would like to know of the authenticity of this 13,500 level, if anyone knows.

Cheers!
