Aus - did you read the dppreview of the G1? Sounded convincing. The blues were much better than on the 990. The 50 ISO made a large difference.

Question on the megapixels. 3.3 seems nearly perfect. What more will 4.0 add? From what I'm gathering (in my four days of sleuth investigation) is that the advances need to come from the printing end - not so much the camera end. Is the a fair statement?
