What is the trough sales?

Scanning Valueline going back through 1983, I see only 4 years in which AMAT posted a Y/Y sales decline:

1986 rev/share went from .84 to .71
1985 rev/share went from .71 to .70
1997 rev/share went from 11.50 to 11.09
1998 rev/share went from 11.09 to 10.99

I would think this would seem to imply a rather modest trough in the 15-25% range from the prior peak.
