If you are using Marines away from shore for a while as a metaphor for gold, beware! Navy ships now have sailors of the female persuasion. The Navy is the "Official Chauffeuring Service" for the Marines. That is even why there are swabettes on Navy ships. I know this for a fact because my son was a Marine and he told me. :-)
