geode, your rabid attack dog posts just need a little light shown on them. they're not fair nor constructive. sure Brinker was wrong on this call and the way he handled it. we can all see that. but your obsession with his destruction is way overblown. so much in fact that you disagree with people who judge market timers for a living. here's the difference between you and others as i see it. many people can admit that Brinker blew this call but still credit him for years of teaching and service to the under educated in investing. you, on the other hand, ignore or dismiss most if not all of the prior teaching and excellent calls he has made in the past. i'm striving for a balanced perspective here. your vitriol is self serving and obsessive at best. there are others on this thread that criticize Brinker, but they do so in a balanced way. your criticism is extremely one sided. and as Walter Conkrite used to say..... "And that's the way it is......"
