Glenn:

Missed that part of "losses as a percentage of sales". Tuned in at 8:00 PM which I thought was the start time. Therefore, I only watch the second half. My Mom told me that you can see the character of a person from the glow on his face: whether he is a good guy or a mean guy (she gave an example of Charles Manson - what an evil glow on his face, and the complete opposite look at Jimmy Carter - a charitable and compassionate glow). The impression I get from Bezos' glow is that of a shifty person, just like a used car salesman that you have a hunch that you will be taken. Don't get me wrong. The majority of used car salespeople are honest, helpful and hardworking, but there are some sleazy ones which you can just spot: oh, no, i don't want to deal with that person. This is exactly the impression I got from watching Bezos.

perhaps some conclusions can be drawn re: how he purposely manipulates other data.
