My guess is that the top 30% (by weight) can lose another 30%, accounting for a loss of 9 percentage points. Another 20% can lose about 90%, i.e. another 18 percentage points. The remaining 50% can decline another 10%, resulting in a loss of 5 percentage points. Adding them all, we get 32%, i.e. about a third. That would put the bottom at 1333. Make it between 1200 and 1500.

I read somewhere that, out on the CSCO msg board, some people are demanding that the company pay dividends! Amazing. Barely a year ago, almost everybody was looking at capital gains as far as the eye can see... And now, this!

A year ago and now -- like day and night. Things can change <snap> like that. All the more reason why one has to stay humble in life...
