You are wrong completely about this point..You must b e a market maker to charge anything other than a Disclosed commission >>>

i respectfully disagree with you. if you are an order-entry (non market maker firm) and you give your trade up to a market maker for execution, you (an an oe firm) are allowed to mark up the transaction over the nbbo but not charge a commission not as a principal transaction, but as a riskless principal transaction
