BKX has been a dead fish out of the water trying to flop its way back in. BKX intraday low is BKX 851.01 and below death support BKX 860. We are now barely above this levell and trying to bounce at BKX 860.64. If and only if we turn back down below 860 and take out intraday lows this afternoon you can expect DOW will accelerate down to new lows. DOW intraday low is DOW 10,404.45. We are now at DOW 10,450 down 194. A break below DOW 10,300 this afternoon, if it materializes, will potentially turn this into one of the top 5 net loss closes in the DOW on record. The greatest net loss (not net % loss) was recorded on April 14, 2000 when the DOW closed down 617.78 points. the statistics:

There are two ways to measure: index points and percentage change. Here are tables of the biggest one-day declines in both terms.

I am quite sure the crash protection team is watching closely and A.G. is watching... will he surprise with inter-meeting cut of fed funds another 50-100 basis points prior to March 20 FOMC meeting???
