I have the perfect image for the T-shirt:

A 2001 Space Odyssey Monolith...
The Monolith is labeled: NASDAQ...
The Monolith is being held up from a complete fall over by some Gorillas and Kings...
Greenspan is standing on top of the Monolith with an evil grin...
Monkeys, Chimps, and Princes, staggering around the scene in a stupor...

Anybody have any cash left to print up some T-Shirts to mark the historical occasion? I take an XL....

You have money to buy a t-shirt??

I will be happy to print some. I can use the 10 cents profit on each!

Bruce,

One critical difference of this downturn with the 1970s is that we can peg the bottom within a a very narrow range of days. The Naz has been dropping 2-4% per trading day. So, this downturn must end in the next 25 to 50 trading days. ;0)
