Yes, I agree with what you are saying, and not just because you are right :o)

The difference with a fed call is what happens if you DON'T do something now, as in the very next day after you incur it. My brokers generally let me sell stock to cover it ONLY on the next day. If I don't take advantage of it things get ugly, real ugly.

Ed, I am actually not into gambling, at least not Las Vegas style. It feels too much like throwing money down a hole. Acted Friday based on sentiments on numerous threads. There was lots of "the sky is falling" type talk Friday so it seemed reasonable to me that folks might feel different after having the weekend to think about it. Then when MSFT CFO came out and flatly stated that they were on target it seemed a good buy at the sold off prices. It didn't work out that way, and I paid the price today. Live and learn...
