Why are you afraid of a rate cut? Are you saying AG will
come in to save the Nasdaq?
I thought he didn't care about the market.
Futhermore we got almost full employment at 4.2%
and " near? no inflation. Big surplus and Bush holding
spending down.
By not lowering rates he is forcing Democrats to look at
their empty wallets and ask themselves how much more of
that do they want to send to Washington.

i'm also thinking of the possibility...but i believe the Fed doesn't want to be seen as engaging in stock market propping activity. they rather increase the money supply through the back door.
