Ketan, When you say you've been unable to enter a single short trade - I'm assuming that's a personal decision of your own and not some brokerage limitation? Its certainly no shame to be reluctant to short; many will never feel comfortable with it. Some accuse me and other short traders of being un-American. Not sure when the pursuit of profit became un-American but I can live with that, since I'm Canadian. However my Canadian friends don't generally understand shorting either :) Capital preservation alone is a worthy strategy in a downtrend.
