How can the old economy hold up when AG himself was looking to the new economy to regenerate the old. Prices have gone up significantly perhaps due to my area but look at your food bill it is not going to go down. Look at your utility bill it is not going down either. Look at your medical it is not going down either. So you look at the future then it becomes are you going to be better off due to a healthier pay check? Or has your mutual fund dwindled and your debt load increased a wee bit too much? Now you are looking much farther out than you prefer to look. Now it could be cut back time because the two hundred thousand deductible on capital gains of mortgage doesn't mean to much when no one is interested in spending two hundred more thousand for your house than you did. Unfortunately you aren't going to get a big bonus this year. The market has you leveraged calling bottom is tricky especially when your wage level thoughts have changed too.
