It seems that MSWin with eSignal is a good combo then - since MSWin will offer highly useful charting and eSignal good clean data; plus eSignal interface can be used to present quotes, real time news, simple portfolio tracking, etc, plus unlike TradeStation 2000i/TS4 (which I use), you don't need to manage your own data.

I guess Mike addressed that, since we would be able to use the eSignal interface at the same time to display things like Level II windows, etc.
