I notice that KLAC, my old employer, is actually up today. Incredible. Semiconductor equipment has been showing tremendous relative strength lately, and I find myself wishing I had switched out of Qs and into that sector. I'm a bit worried about what will happen going forward though, as the latest book-to-bill figures are due out sometime between the 20th and 23rd, and there might be one or two investors left in the world who are still in denial about the industry being in a downtrend.
