An unexpected announcement could trigger the mother of all short squeezes, but I don't think they have the cajones to admit they were wrong... yet. We already know that this will be a poor earnings season, and I'm amazed at the repeated over-reactions to individual company warnings. We need a trigger to shock Mr. Market back to reason. Until then, irrational pessimism rules. uf
