David, franking speaking I really don't know how much cell phone cost in China. But the prices you quoted are just for the prices of the phones - I assume. There were jokes that in China, there are twenty fees you have to pay before you can hook up to the water supply, twenty other fees to pay to get electricity (talking about small businesses). So I really don't know what fees you have to pay to get a cell phone up and running in your pocket on top of the hardware cost. The only point I was trying to make was that owning a cellphone in China is not cheap so adding Palm OS to a phone only represents a small increment of the current cell-phone price.

Wow! Is this market brutal ! The whole world is sinking into a deep recession and Greenspan is still sipping his English tea and saying everything is OK !!
