So he is in a rush to reverse this as well.

That is exactly what is working against him. A small miscue here (tax cuts) a small miscue there (defense spending) another small miscue ( revenue shortfall) and all of a sudden his whole program blows up in his (Republican) face and its back to the ranch in Texas. Downside economic behavior is a big negative for any President. Just ask George Sr., or H. Hoover. J. Carter.

Folks who are in old economy are in for a rude awakening. They didnt learn from us nasdaq folks at all and were as recently as last week smugly walking around bragging about being about even over the last 12 months.

To be fair, those old economy stock took a pretty good beating in 1998 and 1999 relative to tech stocks and didn't/don't have nearly as far to fall. I seriously doubt you will see anything remotely close to what's happening to the NASDAQ in these old economy stocks unless interest rates were to rise significantly (and that ain't gonna happen).
