Sometimes he gives the impression he's just some poor slob pushing a broom, and other times he's a honcho. It's hard enough to imagine anyone giving up the right to negotiate for himself in the workplace to some third-party bureaucracy that may or may not have his best interests at heart. To allow your union to decide how you vote in a general election because they know your best interests better than you would seem to require the commitment of a union insider. Karen
