INDU has one possible support around 10,100-10,200, off the March 00 lows. Next SPX support is 1130, next COMPX support is probably 1800.

Margin calls will add to the carnage. Rather than put more money in, margin calls will probably be met by liquidating a portion of the portfolio. Can't remember the last time I saw the DOW TICK drop past -1000. Time to pull out the Malox. GH

Man, this is a vicious cycle...margin calls....Nikkei breaking down, Big bad headlines on the news, Naz breaking down, SPX breaking down.....Greenspan can lower interest rates.....but will it give anymore than a pop? And what about the damage to the dollar?

Comment of the week, NY Fed Governor McDonough (last Wednesday)...(I paraphrase): "Market strength is pointing to better economic times ahead"

There is only one word for him: Dumbass.

(I usually don't express myself so, but that guy's an idiot)
