Is this 'it' Shack? The DOW can not stop falling. No more Angell comments or assorted rumours to stem the slide either.

Wow, this is really ugly.

I guess we'll soon know if Grannie Greenspan's portfolio is mostly in the Dow.

Wouldn't surprise me if he had a significant position in Bershire-Hathaway.
With his position (if that is the case) he has done quite well relatively this last year.
B-H is up something like 75% from its low, this time last year.

Years from now I expect history will think we (the US) were nuts letting this old fool continue to act like an old crone throwing bones to make decisions, and smirking that he hopes he's being "sufficienty ambiguous".

Ha, ha. He's developing quite a sense of humour as he edges into senility, isn't he.

Friday would be a good day for him to surprise the markets, in the midst of triple witching.
Might as well create as much havoc as possible.

I'm trying not to be too ambiguous about my feelings here.
