No, just set the tone. I'm not opposed to a tax cut. But this one raises too many questions. No budget. He's working ass-backwards. Basically ... too many questions, and big money and small money don't seem to like it.

I'm no economist. But it seems to me when a new president, especially one who is already mired in question/controversy starts talking down the economy - people stop spending. It's a snowball.

I didn't realize how bad today was in the markets. I'm sure my mutual funds are getting killed. I'm glad I have another 30 years before retirement!

Re: rent - I'm not telling you to do it under the table. But I know tons of people who have done it. I don't know anyone who's been caught. People rent rooms out to college kids all the time (I did, when I was in college). But if you're going to lose sleep over it (or your ass), then don't do it.
