Pension: Administered by just the union. Defined benefits 3.60 for the past 8 years. We got the guys to vote a local pension that is their money. They have voted to increase this every year out of their raises. Formula is years service x 3 As to being underfunded, yes. After several years of Fed intervention and more then a few jail terms I understand that it is better. It seems that the pension owned a couple of private jets, etc. Perhaps you can feel my distaste for this type pension. And before you yell I am well aware of companies that pull the same BS with their pension plans that they run internal. I don't feel any more kindly towards them.
