"We're going to have a long recession," he said. "At the other end of a recession is a better, balanced economy. It's constructive, but you have to go through some requisite pain to get there." NASDAQ 500? 15% unemployment? If he's right, he won't know pain. That mostly falls on the families living on the margin already. But I suspect he's simply a pessimist. He called an end to the rise 3000 pts early and now that folks have suffered a fall, he wants things to become excruciating. That's not objective analysis; that's sadism. (Nice find Bald Sir).
