The old market saying that "when they raid the bawdy house they take the piano player, too" was in effect today. OSX did not act badly considering the carnage in the DOW. I saw enough fear to cover my tech shorts. This may not be the bottom but we are at least close to a nice trading bounce.

I don't think my argument lost too much ground on a 52 week basis

This is not to diminish the importance of technology to either the economy or the market...but it's not the whole world....just feels like it.

Having said the above...the issues in Japan are a broad warning signal full of downside risk for the ENTIRE market.
