Ralph, the only thing you can find out nowadays is to which degree they are hedged, since only one company (GOLD) is COMPLETELY unhedged. otherwise you just have to go through their annual/quarterly reports and find out from there. and then you usually better go and ask them via e-mail if anything has changed since the last report.
also, hedge books have to be seen in context, i.e. they have to be judged in relation to overall production levels and reserves.
