Sabre, In my addle-minded haze I have seen the eerily close similarities between end of '99-early '00 and the past 5 months for some time now. Change "How High!?!" to "How low, gulp?" and there is little difference in the psychology out there...only the uniforms have changed. "It's different this time"...how many times we have heard that? It's not different, never was, and the ones preaching it now on the downside will look just as foolish as the "new economy" devotees. Greed ruled early '00...fear has assumed the throne now...in both cases the psych goes to the outer edges of the bell curve. Doom and gloom is the path of least resistance now...listening to talking heads on CNBC can be very detrimental to one's health...I like a few, but they are far between. Hang in there, I think your post will be pretty astute a week from now. Of course, things could be different this time...NOT. midnite
