the Great Internet Depression may have begun
under AG's inept watch
he has grossly misjudged the role of IPO and Venture Capital
that role is to produce competition, reduce prices, foster growth
he has grossly misjudged the speed at which inventories can be adjusted
the speed at which mfg lines can be shut down
the speed at which people can be laid off

Poultry in Motion, we are going to get through this. We are finally working through the extreme valuations, and the mkt is broadening out, which is healthy. In the end one hopes the lessons that the latest crop of investors have gotten, will help build a more rational and stable mkt going forward.

Having said that though, I agree that the fed has got to change the speed with which it acts, to stay in step with the speed with which modern economies adjust, due to the developements in technology. However if anyone is to blame for the extreme overvaluations, its the Wall St. marketing machine/and aggressive instituitional investors, and mutual funds, and inexperienced investors, that didn't do their own due diligence.
