Pete, Do you realize that there are now 3 different assemblages doing Brian Wilson material. Brian is doing his solo act (but with a fantastic band, led by a young, L.A. group, the Wondermints), and great guitarist-singer, Jeff Foskett. Brian has just done a national tour doing all of Pet Sounds without interruption, sometimes with symphony orchestras. "The Beach Boys" -- with Mike Love and Bruce Johnston. Professional but as you indicate, kind of sad. The do only the early material. Al Jardine w/Beach Boys Family and Friends -- Jardine and Love are mortal enemies now. Jardine's show is evidently a good one. It includes his son, Matt, who can duplicate Brian's falsettos, and also Carnie and Wendy Wilson.
