I'm now leaning toward the seed-weighted scoring. I agree that picking upsets is one of the best parts when making out our brackets and it would be nice to be rewarded for going out on an early limb.

Yes, whatever picks you make now you can change at any point prior to the deadline. As for the 64th seed, yes, you can pick the game now and don't need to change it later unless you think that game will be one of the upsets depending on who gets the last spot.
