After the Pastor from my church sold it and got the money there were members of the congregation that were afraid to say anything against him!! One did stand up to him and got accused of being possessed by the devil for the use of destroying the Pastor. The carnage of the incident is still playing itself out. The ugliness did nothing to promote goodwill and compassion among men. His family did their best to destroy anyone that dared question anything. A San Francisco TV station did a story on the church a few months ago. I'm waiting for 60 minutes! Whenever I think of Tammy Fae Baker I think of Johnny Carson's joke about her. " Did anyone hear that a tarantula tried to mate with her eyelashes?" LOL They were a shameful couple but I noticed that materialism tends to be a common vice among Fundamentalists. Some may have money but the ones that don't go heavy into debt trying to look like they do. I think they want others to think that God has rewarded them for being true to his laws. It's a status symbol.....maybe something like a quid pro quo! LOL
