My only issue is with same-sex parents raising children. It is problematic.

Otherwise, I think that the time has come to allow people to enjoy being loved, and giving it.

I also agree with this. Gay people should have the right to former legal unions and take care of the people they love. This can be done without trying to destroy every existing institution. I think the attack on marriage is more of the same old lots bring it all down rather than an appeal for rights. For example the attack on the boy scouts is an attack on someone else's value system. There is nothing stopping the gay community from starting the Gay Scouts of AMerica.

I apologize for disappearing. SI has been fritzy, and I needed to go......Actually, there is very little gay bashing around here (an occasional person will let loose, to my chagrin). Most people are convinced that some homosexuals, at least, would have to renounce erotic love to avoid yielding to their inclinations, regardless of whether for genetic or psychological reasons (who cares?), and therefore have some sympathy for their predicament.......
