You're only partially right ... on both counts. Most of this business money goes to Republicans and right-wingers. (I'll dig up the statistic again if you want the exact figure, but I believe it's 60 percent Repub vs. 40 percent Democrat.) On the other hand, check out the Teamsters' endorsements for president since '80: Reagan-Reagan-Bush Sr.-Clinton-no one in '96 and Gore in 2000. That's three GOP endorsements and two Dem endorsements by the Teamsters in the past two decades. Hardly backs your case of virtually 100 percent of the union dough going to the Democrats.
