despite all of his other faults, clinton's primary focus was growing the economy.
everything else was secondary...
and he was successful, in spite of the wreckage he inherited from the reagan bush era.
he was very conscious
to always do and say what was necessary to inspire confidence in the economy.

bush on the other hand has other priorities.
