Mike,

First of all, I already corrected myself in message to UF that both tech and non-tech have their advantages and
disadvantages.

Second, if you talk about "companies, not necessarily the stocks", then I would be much more on the side
of non-tech. If I owned the whole business, I would DEFINITELY rather own KO than INTC. With KO, you
could potentially do nothing, rake in the huge cash flow and live happily ever after. With INTC you have to
innovate like hell, not sleep at night and even then the bright kid on the street may beat you.

KO does have problems because it tries to grow, but look at See's candies. It's a cash cow with no problems
for the last 20 (30?) years.

Regarding stocks, I buy tech because it is very volatile. There are more opportunities to get it at a good price than
KO. KO was probably not cheap for the last 10 years or so. The closest I got to great consumer franchises was
MAT and RAL. I blew both opportunities, but that's because of my evil twin. :-((( SGP is close to being an
opportunity now, but it is less 20-year stock than KO.

>>I even partially agree with Buffett that KO is better than tech
>Please show me where Buffett either wrote that or said it.

You win. Let's rephrase it: "I see why Buffett bought KO, and I would buy it rather than tech if I got his price, etc."

Jurgis - I can't buy a whole KOmpany :-(
