After he spends 600k on that 1000 sq foot house he'll need a $4000 grill to go in that huge back yard.

gpowell,

You're in luck KB. A 1000 sq ft two bedroom 1 bath home on a 5000 sq ft lot near me just had its price reduced to $595,000.

Move that decimal a little to the left and you've got a deal. I wouldn't touch real estate in this valley right now. Scientists have just discovered that liquifaction (the effect most commonly associated with earthquakes and homes built on landfill) can be caused by the collapse of Silicon Quiche. Before you know it someone is looking at your 1,000 sq ft home and asking what you were thinking when you plopped down $600,000 for it.

ps. I'm thinking of buying that grill Grace hipped me to...and moving into it!
