Re Economic Trend:
I chart the Initial Claims for Unemployment data weekly as a concident economic indicator. Charted inversely, after recovering in January, the 4-week mov ave began a steady decline in February. Last week's data was incomplete, with Calif etc missing, but I believe the March data will finally get weak enough, i.e., Claims will finally get high enough to conclusively indicate that we're sliding into recession.
