The 5 stages of Grief end in acceptance. Not sure if it is equivalent to bear market psychology or not

Sure there is: acceptance is when the "average investor" says to him/herself, "the market is just too dangerous and after all these losses I'm not going back there again." This stage (ala early 70's) can last several years.
