Zeev:

Either you misinterpreted my remarks about Hays or I posted in error. He never projected Naz 1400 in the year 2000. He did project 1900 and then pulled away when the NAZ temporarily bottomed at 2300 in December. What he did say was that he thought the NAZ would drop to 1400 before the bear was over. But he never said or implied that he expected that low to be reached last year.

BTW, sold my gold funds yesterday. In this market best to grab even modest profits while they still exist.

Reverse head-and-shoulders pattern on the NDX shows neckline to be at around 1760. Breakout would target upside of around 1825 to fill gap going back to last Friday.
