Again, you cited Scandinavia in general as being pretty solidly "social democratic", and set it apart implicitly from the rest of Europe. Actually, though, the politics of the countries you cited have been a fairly mixed bag, and electoral pressures have kept things towards a recognizable center, one more "Left" than in the States, but not much more than in the rest of Western Europe.......
